India suspended eVisa services for Canadian nationals in late 2023 amid a diplomatic dispute. Services were gradually restored starting in early 2024, and by 2026 all eVisa categories are fully available to Canadian passport holders. Processing times have returned to the normal 72 to 96 hour window.
